That second cup was supposed to be a small pleasure. A moment you earned. Somewhere between the first sip and the fifth repetition, it became something else: a checkpoint you pass through without noticing, a test you keep administering to yourself. Virgo knows how this works. You can feel the exact moment a choice becomes a rule, the way your body expects it now.
Notice what happens when someone else doesn't need the thing you've made necessary. Their ease with one cup reads like a small judgment, which means you've already turned your own habit into a measure of discipline. The coffee is still hot and still tastes good. That part hasn't changed. What's changed is your relationship to choosing it.
Today, let the second cup sit for five minutes while you do something else. Try this once, with full awareness. The rule loses power the moment you remember it's yours to change. Your body will ask for it tomorrow. Let it ask. That's where your real control lives.
Before you pour the second cup, drink a full glass of water and step outside for two minutes.
