What is a rising sign?
Your rising sign is the zodiac sign that was climbing over the eastern horizon at the exact time and place you were born. Where your Sun sign is who you are and your Moon sign is how you feel, your rising sign is how you come across — your outward style, your first impression, and the lens the whole chart is expressed through. Because it depends on your birth time, it changes roughly every two hours.
