You know what you did. You read their message and decided the pause itself was a test, a message back to them about how much they should want to hear from you. Now the silence has become the thing itself, and you're trapped in it watching for their next move instead of making yours.
This is a Gemini trap. Your mind moves fast enough to run three conversations at once, and you can talk yourself into believing that every tiny action carries meaning. That radio silence says something. That the timing of their response reveals their priorities. But you've made their silence into a mirror and called it communication.
Take off the headphones and write back today. Not a novel. Not a explanation. Just a real sentence that lets them know you're still here. You'll feel the difference immediately. The conversation doesn't have to be perfect or weighted with hidden meaning. It just has to be real.
