December 30
You keep your distance by staying in motion. It's worked before. But motion doesn't actually create distance the way you thought it did, and right now you're learning that the hard way.
Someone has moved closer than your usual patterns allow. They're asking for real estate in your notebook, which is how people ask for real estate in your life. You saw it happening. You could have set a boundary, made a joke, redirected them toward something safer. Instead you watched them get closer anyway, which means some part of you wanted them to.
The blunt move here is not to suddenly build walls. It's to name what you actually want from this person before resentment gets a say. You don't have to disappear. You just have to stop pretending you don't feel them getting closer. Write it down if you need to. Tell them if you can.
Write one honest sentence about what you want from this person and share it with them today.
Your presence carries more influence today than you realize.
Sagittarius is built for motion — new places, new ideas, new horizons. Winter asks for the opposite: stillness, reflection, and sitting with things that don't resolve quickly. The holidays land right in your season, pulling you into family obligations and emotional conversations you'd rather skip. Then January arrives: long, gray, and relentless. The restlessness you normally burn off through travel or action has nowhere to go. That's uncomfortable. But it's also where your philosophical side earns its keep — if you'll let it.
You think in big pictures and get bored by small talk, which makes you fascinating and occasionally impossible to pin down. You say what others are thinking and occasionally what they weren't ready to hear. Right now, you're navigating the gap between your need for freedom and the obligations that winter stacks up — family gatherings, year-end reckoning, expectations from people who want more of you than you know how to give. Your optimism is real, not performed. But you use it sometimes to avoid sitting with harder truths. This winter is quietly asking you which beliefs you've actually tested and which ones you just repeat.
